We have a beautiful one large bed bungalow just outside the small village of Grosmont it’s self , it’s a cul-de-sack of 26 , mainly private homes a mixture of of houses and bungalows . It has lovely gras verges and a large parking area around the back . Th river Esk is at the end of road and a stream runs along the bottom of the street . It’s a beautiful area and the village hosts the flying Scotsman every year there is a shop the oldest cooperative in England that is owned by locals a pub with great food also a cafe that was once a schoolhouse aswell as a private locals only club .lots of local walks and a cricket field with tennis courts . Now to the bungalow itself , we have a modern kitchen which we had fitted a couple of years ago that worked for us , it’s a modern shackle style . The air source pump that makes electricity cheap ( no gas in the area ) but the home is very warm with double radiators throughout . Bath with shower over all panels for easy decoration. Lounge has large window that loos out to private grassed lawn and edges with topiary tread. Privat path runs don side of house front door access through the gate opens up to a large paved area for lo maintenance and a planted area for some color .space for ver large shed we have 2 one is a pvc shed 12:8 and a smaller pvc 6:3 one and still space . The bedroom looks out over the front lawn and you can see the cows grazing . The back garden is in sun all day even in winter . We have had handles placed to assist and new doors have just been fitted . We have replaced lots of things in the bungalow ie doors to natural wool , exspensive flooring throughout .
