This bungalow is part of a sheltered housing scheme for people over 55. There is ample parking outside the bungalows. A short walk takes you to the GP surgery which has its own pharmacy. In the village there is a post office and grocery store, a papershop which has a small cafe selling coffee and cake, a hardware store, a garage with a workshop and a spar store, a village hall, a church and a pub. There is also a train station which connects to Weymouth and Bristol.
I moved in two years ago and since then extensive works have been done - the bungalows have been fully insulated and solar panels installed. The kitchen is due to be replaced this year. There is a fair sized back garden which I started renovating but due to all the work that was being done on the bungalow, came to a stand still. So this is work in progress still. The back garden is the responsibility of the tenant, the grass in front of the bungalow is mowed by Magna.
The bungalow has a large living/dining room, a double and single bedroom both with built in cupboards, the bathroom has a walk in shower with a fitted fold up/down seat. the hallway has three built in cupbaords plus the emersion heater cupboard. The kitchen is a nice size and leads to a shelved storage area and back door to the garden. The main bedroom has carpet but the rest of the bungalow has vinyl flooring.
