one-bedroom open-plan apartment right at the bottom of Academy Street in Inverness (IV1 1LX). The apartment has beautiful big windows which make it really bright and spacious. There are two double built-in cupboards, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, as well as an additional cupboard in the hall, so there’s plenty of storage.
The bathroom is big and spacious with both a bath and shower, along with a large built-in towel heater. The bedroom is a good-sized double room that easily fits a double bed with bedside tables and additional furniture.
The whole apartment has just been freshly painted and has had new dark grey flooring laid throughout. There is also a dark grey brick feature wallpaper in the living room and kitchen area which looks really nice.
There is a separate area for the bins so they aren’t left out on the street. There are only three neighbours in the building, which keeps it very quiet and private — one next to this apartment and two upstairs. The building used to be offices, so the walls are extra thick and I never hear any noise. The ceiling also has an extra layer from the upstairs flats, so it’s very well insulated.
All the neighbours are lovely and even take my bins out for me weekly.
