My flat is a modern 1 bed in a great part of Battersea, about a 5-minute walk from Battersea Power Station and the Underground. Inside, it’s simple, clean, and gets plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows and balcony.
There’s a double bedroom, which is new and clean with enough space for a king size bed, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area with everything you need. The kitchen is modern and easy to use.
The living room is a comfortable, modern space that fits well with the rest of the flat. It’s bright and uncluttered, with a simple layout. There’s enough space for a big seating area and a TV, like the rest of the flat, it has a clean, contemporary feel with neutral tones, so it feels calm and easy to live in.
One of the best parts is the private balcony, which is a great spot to relax, especially in the evening. I also have a garden downstairs which is a lovely place to sunbathe in the summer.
The building itself is secure and well looked after, with two lifts, a video intercom, bike storage, and a car park. It’s also accessible for wheelchair users with automatic doors at the entrance.
Location-wise, it’s really convenient. The river is just a short 2 minutes walk away, there are plenty of parks nearby, and you’ve got everything you need close by - big Sainsbury’s, big Tesco, cafés, restaurants, petrol stations (open 24/7), post office, corner shops (open till late), pharmacies, GP’s and more. Transport links are excellent too, with the closest bus stop 1 minute away and the Underground just a few minutes away, so it’s easy to get around London.
